Welcome to my first blog!
For all those who have ventured onto this page - (may it be your first or last)
HI.
Its was a Gannon family idea - so thank you for the inspiration.
Well - I fly on Sunday 13th Jan.2008 and I will be staying at:
The Manna Mission Hospital
First Estate Junction RoadTsuibleoo (Last Bus Stop)
Post Office 1032
Teshie Nungue Estates
Greater Accra
GHANA
Just in case anyone wants to send me post, however, it may take weeks to arrive, just to warn you...
Its a Missionary run hospital which has a few different wards, as well as a delivery suite & an operating theatre. It also has a School and Church on site.
I've also been assured that there is e-mail/internet access - which is why I've set up this site.
Hope to be in contact from Africa in 5 days time!

Hi Sweetheart
How are you after your long journey and earky start. Presume you were very tired and it must have seemed very strange to have travelled so far and not know anyone. Is it very hot? Hope all well at your digs at the Hospital. Looking forward to heaing from you soon.

Hi Lucy, this is a long shot, but I am hoping to go to Manna Mission for my elective next year. I'll travel alone so would appreciate any advice you can give. I stumbled across your blog on page number 3 of a search for Manna Mission on Facebook. My email address is: h.a.clements@dundee.ac.uk if you can be of any help!
Rather a google search, not a Facebook search! It has been a long day!
